EcoVue® Sterile Ultrasound Gels are non-irritating, non-sensitizing and water-soluble ultrasound couplants and are intended for use in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures where a coupling gel or fluid is required or desired.
EcoVue® Sterile Ultrasound Gels may be used during medical ultrasound procedures on or near mucosal membranes and through body orifices.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Consult your health system’s internal policies and procedures regarding sanitization prior to use and preparing the EcoVue® Ultrasound Gel sterile packet. An isopropyl alcohol-based sanitizer is recommended.
Open the packet and apply the desired amount of EcoVue® directly to the patient or probe as needed.
Discard packet after use. To preserve product performance, store away from direct sunlight.
Store in a clean, dry place at room temperature (15°-30°C or 59°-86°F).
If frozen, leave it at room temperature and let it thaw. Do not microwave.
WARMING OF THE GEL
EcoVue® may be used at room temperature or warmed. If you choose to warm the gel prior to use, please refer to your health system’s internal policies and procedures for gel warming temperature guidelines.
