This life-size vertebral column includes the sacrum, coccyx, pelvis, and removable femur heads. Complete with the pubic symphysis, this model shows great detail representing the vertebral arteries, spinal nerve branches, and intervertebral discs. Muscles origins (red) and insertions (blue) are also depicted on the left side of the model for further learning. This model shows the 5 different sections of the spinal column:
- 7 cervical vertebrae
- 12 thoracic vertebrae
- 5 lumbar vertebrae, including prolapsed L3-L4 discs
